Il est temps pour notre Pop-Up de mars et avril, ce qui signifie lever une bière à toutes les femmes incroyables chez BBP, à Bruxelles et au-delà, avec un verre de BXL INK ; notre bière de la Journée internationale des droits des femmes !
Dans la plus pure tradition de l’IWD, nous utilisons le Pink Boots Blend 2026, fourni par Yakima Chief et sélectionné par la Pink Boots Society ; une formidable organisation à but non lucratif qui soutient les femmes et les personnes non binaires dans l’industrie brassicole. Le blend de houblons de cette année comprend Centennial, HBC 638, Mosaic et Ekuanot ; attendez-vous à des notes tropicales, de fruits à noyau, d’agrumes et de pin.
Pour notre touche spéciale, nous utilisons de l’Ube, une igname violette philippine aux arômes de noisette et de vanille. La douceur naturelle et les caractéristiques légèrement noisettées de l’Ube sont complétées par des arômes d’agrumes issus du blend de houblons, ainsi que par des zestes de citron vert, de la citronnelle et une pointe de gingembre.
La composition des malts apporte un corps léger mais présent, laissant les houblons et les saveurs exotiques pleinement s’exprimer.

Het is tijd voor onze Pop-Up van maart en april, wat betekent dat we het glas heffen op alle geweldige vrouwen bij BBP, in Brussel en daarbuiten, met een glas BXL INK; ons bier voor Internationale Vrouwendag!
In echte IWD-stijl gebruiken we de Pink Boots Blend 2026, geleverd via Yakima Chief en geselecteerd door de Pink Boots Society; een fantastische non-profitorganisatie die vrouwen en niet-binaire personen in de brouwindustrie ondersteunt. De hopblend van dit jaar bevat Centennial, HBC 638, Mosaic en Ekuanot; denk aan tropisch fruit, steenvruchten, citrus en dennen.
Voor onze speciale twist gebruiken we Ube, een Filipijnse paarse yam met uitgesproken tonen van noten en vanille. De natuurlijke zoetheid en nootachtige kenmerken van de Ube worden aangevuld door citrusaroma’s uit de hopblend, samen met limoenschillen, citroengras en een vleugje gember.
De moutstort zorgt voor een licht maar rond mondgevoel, waardoor de hop en de exotische smaken volledig tot hun recht komen.

This year’s hop blend features Centennial, HBC 638, Mosaic and Ekuanot; think tropical, stone fruit, citrus and pine.
For our special twist, we’re using Ube, a nutty, vanilla-forward Filipino purple yam. The Ube’s natural sweetness and nutty characteristics are complemented by citrus aromatics from the hop blend, along with lime peels, lemongrass and a touch of ginger.
The grist bill provides a light yet moderate body, allowing the hops and exotic flavors to truly shine through.
